Each of his Ghazal had a deep meaning to it. Be it ‘Hothon se choo lo tum‘ or ‘Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho‘. His duets with his wife Chitra Singh are still fresh and people still wish that they both had continued singing. Many relate their favourite Jagjit Singh songs with actual incidences in their lives, the incidences that are refreshed now when they hear his songs.
We asked our blogger friends to remember Jagjit Singh and let us know the first song that came into their mind when his name comes up. π Our special thanks to Gauri for suggesting us to do this post based on the Kishore Kumar Special, we had done earler. π Thank you to all our friends who took the time out to reply and let us know your favorites.
