Exactly. Thank you, Mr. Van Gogh. You’ve been way ahead of your time in eradicating body image issues and establishing a sense of ‘beauty in all sizes’.
It was a particularly dark night – courtesy a major electricity failure that racked the whole town. I remember getting up to splash my face with water. I also remember jumping straight back to bed. The full-length dressing mirror was eerily lit up. A form, faintly familiar, looked out at me.

In fact, hair is a modification of skin, growing all over our body except on our palms and soles, eyelids and lips. So it follows from this that healthy skin contributes to healthy hair.
