Long lost friends are no longer far or connected via snail mail, they feel as close as ever with a Facebook or an Orkut. Business communications isn’t about exchanging business cards and connecting when work arrives, its about keeping in continuous sync with your contacts (LinkedIN). From printing photos and mailing across CD’s to sharing them on a Picasa or Flickr we have come a long way with Social Media already.
IIM Ahmedabad (IIM-A) is back with the second edition of its financial conclave organized by ‘The Centre of Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE), Beta – the Finance Club of IIMA and Leverage – the Private Equity and Venture Capital Club of IIMA’. The theme of the conclave this year is “Challenging the New Normal”. A very interesting theme indeed. The agenda looks promising spread across two days and about 500 attendees are expected to attend.

The first week of 2010 is here! The first edition of #perkytweets are here for the new year and for the decade. Hope your new year is all smiles and drive away all your blues. In a few hours, we will welcome the year 2010. How did the year go by? What are your plans for the year 2010? Do you think you want to make a difference in the society this year? We all have some resolutions that we make at the start of every year – some get fulfilled while a few does not. Those that cannot be accomplished are mostly due to the fact that we didn’t work enough on them. If we would, everything is possible. Kindda. 🙂
For us at BlogAdda, it has been a very exciting and fulfilling year. We are happy and take pride when we get mails from our fellow bloggers saying that we are making a change in their lives, albeit in a small but very significant way.
