The Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi has been in news for over three weeks for the disturbance created by a program in the university campus. The participants of the meet allegedly chanted anti-India slogans. This led to the beating of students, journalists and lawyers and even the arrest of the student president Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar on accounts of a speech delivered by him about Afzal Guru and Ajmal Kasab.
