Good evening, this is your Captain speaking. Flight No. 2015 is now flying over October at the speed of sound. Seriously, where did the year go! One moment we’re bringing in the new year and before we know it, And before we know, we’ll be bidding good bye to the fast and the furious 2015. Well that’s life, but let’s enjoy October while it lasts, right?
Most of us read newspapers, or at least skim through them as a matter of habit. We don’t look forward to reading them, because they are full of unpleasant news. Well, unpleasant or not, they are an important part of our mornings and we may go as far as saying they help in keeping our democracy afloat. Television is the most wanted form of entertainment. Whether you are alone or enjoying an evening with your family, the TV is a perfect companion. Most of us get our daily fix of news, entertainment, songs, knowledge and more through the idiot box. But there is something that puts the brakes on this daily fix. And that is the commercial break.
