Achieving gender equality is no mean feat, and efforts to make sure that the world is a fair and equal place for both genders will have to go on for a long time. As it is with all good things, gender equality is a change that will have to start from home and move outwards, which is what BlogAdda and Ariel attempted with the #ShareTheLoad campaign. Young and impressionable minds are the best bet when it comes to seeding change, an idea that was central to this activity which asked bloggers to write about how to take the message of #ShareTheLoad to the next generation by sharing the best ways in which to instill values of gender equality in households in children’s minds. The activity highlighted some crucial points regarding household chores and stereotypes surrounding them. And now it’s time to announce the winners of the Ariel #ShareTheLoad activity!
