WOW: Mind Your Language

In India, they say languages change every 10 miles you go. According to the Census of 2001, India has 122 major languages and 1500 other languages or dialects. Even the first word a child utters are influenced by the language or mother-tongue that he has been listening to since birth. And it stays with him for the rest of his life, no matter how far he goes. Some of us learn a foreign language out of curiosity and end up falling in love with it.

In today’s WOW (Write Over the Weekend) challenge, we want you to write about the language that is close to your heart and why? It could be a language that your learnt from a neighbour or picked up during your travel excursions. You can use the title Mind Your Language on your post.
