In this Decade, we believe Indian Entrepreneurs would be the face of India and contribute to the growth of India. IIT Kharagpur is organizing the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2010. It is the annual flagship event of the Entrepreneurship Cell IIT Kharagpur. The GES Summit 2010 is one of the biggest entrepreneurial platforms for academicians, new-age entrepreneurs, eminent business personalities, venture capitalists and the students to gather at one place and share their entrepreneurial endeavors and experiences, and to pledge to take entrepreneurship to greater scales. Every event has a specific theme for the event and the theme for GES Summit 2010 is ‘CleanTech’, celebrating clean technologies by holding the finals of the first ever CleanTech Challenge in India and a series of workshops focusing on CleanTech. The summit also promises to exhibit inspirational Guest Lectures by eminent personalities and a panel discussion by Venture Capitalists focusing on college startups.
Another highlight of the Summit is the Startup Camp. Startup Camp– an invaluable opportunity for promising startups of the country to raise seed capital and hire college students as a full time employee or as an intern. The Summit will also play host to the finals of Concipio, Envision, Eclairez, Negocio, Pensez, Sales Pitch and Online video contest. In addition, there will be a lot of fun on the spot events such as TGIF and Bizturkz, where some serious cut throat competition is expected.

Startup Fair:
The event will involve interaction of Entrepreneurs and students and aims to help Start up to recruit the finest talent of IIT Kharagpur students for internships/jobs while giving them an opportunity to meet the biggest VC and Angel Investors in India during the fair. A participation from more than 25 startups is expected.
