Here we are in a fresh new month and a new season. It’s a time for change all around and in keeping with that thought, this column looks at something new. I talked about Facebooking the blog the last time around. The online social media force is driven by one other platform. Remember the days when we used to rush to the ground after coming back from school in dirty clothes to play our favorite game. Remember the times when we used to feel happy when we won and cry when we used to lose. The fights, the hugs and the bonding we had while playing our favorite sport.

As we are writing this, Indian athletes in the Commonwealth games have won their first gold. It is a proud moment for all of us especially after the bad pre-event buzz it generated. We are now focusing on the sports and for the time being have moved our eyes away from corruption surrounding the games.
This week we have some posts talking about it. In other news, cricket fans would be rejoicing as India just won a test match from the brink of defeat against Australia.
