The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT BHU is all set to host the latest edition of its annual flagship event E-Summit 2024 from 2nd to 4th February. This summit stands as a beacon for aspiring entrepreneurs, offering a platform to nurture and propel the innovative minds of the nation. The grand opening ceremony is slated for February 2nd, with the distinguished presence of the Director of IIT BHU, Prof. Pramod Kumar Jain, who will inaugurate the festival alongside other esteemed faculty members and guests.
E-Cell is an institute body run by students of IIT (BHU) Varanasi which is devoted to acting as a symbiotic link between the existing and aspiring entrepreneurs and the current start-up ecosystem to enhance the overall culture of entrepreneurship across India. This year’s summit, themed “Nexus of Novelties,” serves as a platform for innovators nationwide to discuss ideas, network, and build connections.
Preceding E-Summit ’24, E-Cell IIT BHU successfully hosted two events: The Startup Junction, an initiative by the Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT BHU aimed at nurturing and advancing the startup ecosystem in our country. Their vision is to connect venture capitalists with promising startups, providing a platform for innovation, growth, and collaboration. This one-day event took place in Delhi/NCR and Bengaluru on 15th Dec‘23. The second pre-event was The Venture Capital Bootcamp where the participants underwent a fruitful training experience led by top professionals in the Venture Capital industry.
E-Summit ’24, presented by multiple sponsors and supported by the government of India programs, promises a diverse array of events catering to the entrepreneurial spirit. The agenda includes entrepreneurship-based competitions, a Startup Pitching Event, and the Startup Expo — a fair featuring startups nationwide showcasing their innovative products.
In addition, attendees can engage in enlightening panel discussions and talks led by industry experts and leaders, providing valuable insights into the evolving realms of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Venture Capital. The speaker lineup for E-Summit ‘24 is distinguished, featuring key figures from leading firms such as Udit G, COO at Google Cloud; Shashank Randev, Co-Founder at 100X.VC; Abhishek Kakkar, Vice President for Investments at Indian Angel Networks, alongside to executives from Microsoft, Axis Capital, Cisco, and Trifecta Capital.
