Hello bloggers!
Let’s welcome June with open arms of renewed energy and appreciating the earthy aroma as we begin this rainy season. A particularly favourite treat for this season would be blogging and reading with a drizzling view from our window. Who doesn’t find satisfaction in writing while listening to rumbles of thunder? We have got an interesting writing prompt for you to get started this weekend.
‘We’re as ephemeral as raindrops. We all fall, and we all land somewhere.’ – Robert Charles Wilson
The sound of writing is like raindrops falling on the land and the smell of ink is like the fragrance of soil after rain. Sprinkles outside mean we are at our keyboard inside.
For this edition of WOW, we want you to ‘Write a story about your adventure as a raindrop’ Imagine that you are a raindrop who’s making a long journey from the clouds to the earth below. Where would you first land? What happens to you? Where do you finally end up? Use verbs and adjectives to describe what you see, hear, feel, and experience.
How are you planning to enjoy your rainy days amidst the pandemic? Do let us know in the comments section.
Remember to submit your blogpost before Sunday midnight to be eligible as a valid entry and win a chance to display the WOW badge proudly on your blog and social networks.
Kindly add this line in your blogpost, ‘This post is a part of Write Over the Weekend, an initiative for Indian Bloggers by BlogAdda.’ Click on the submit button below and share your WOW entry.
This is also the time to use our social media platform power to help each other in these difficult times. Please feel free to tag us on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook if you or anyone on your list needs help with resources. We will share it on our feed.
Have a happy weekend 🙂

Can we still write an article? or was there a deadline?
Well, we have WOW for the weekend. You can still write for the love of writing. 🙂
