Travel is the best way to be lost and found all at the same time. Here are some destinations for everyone to be lost in the beauty and serenity of Mother Nature and find new energy which keeps them alive and kicking. This is an assorted collection of suggestion by some of our travel–holic bloggers.
1. Trek to Triund | Story of Snow
Triund Hills referred to as the jewel of Dharamshala, is loved by tourists. Trek to Triund is of around nine kilometers long, and begin right in McLeod Ganj. Triund is located at 2,842 meters above sea level, with each bend of the valley filled with with vibrant red blossoms of rhododendron trees, making it impossible to miss.

2. Ramayana Theme Park | Back to history
Located in Coimbatore, Ramayan Theme Park takes visitors to a stroll down the ancient time of Hindu Lord Rama. Park fascinates younger ones more because of its design and rides. Rajesh and his family had great fun being a part of this epic reconstruction of Ramayana.
3. Tawang | City above the Clouds
Situated in North East, Tawang was the dream come true for Siddhartha Joshi. It is jointly claimed by India as well as China. Tawang Monastery is India’s largest and Asia’s second largest monastery. It is heaven for tourists and people interested in Buddhism.
4. Lava, Lolay gaon, Rishop/Rishyap | Date with Himalayas
Known for their natural beauty, the three villages -Lava, Lolay and Rishop situated in Himalayan region of West Bengal are the new upcoming tourist destinations. The serenity of the hills and the solitude was a treat for Surajit and lots of other people who have visited this place.
5. Morachi Chincholi | Peacock Village
A famous village in the midst of non-descript villages! Morachi Chincholi village – the names means peacocks and tamarind trees. This village is famous for its tamarind trees and hundreds of free-roaming peacocks and peahens. Rajaram Sethuraman suggests it to be one of the best places to visit near Pune and Mumbai.
6. Adi Badri Teerth | Secrets in the Heart
Located in a remote corner of a forgotten village of Kathgarh in Yamunanagar, the Adi Badri Teerth holds many secrets in its heart. The great river which gave birth to the civilization, Saraswati, use to leave Shivalik Himalayas here for its long journey towards the desert area of Rajasthan. 7. Srinagar’s Sher-e-khaas walk | City of Beauty and Heritage
Srinagar is the city of beauty and heritage. If one is in this city for sometime Siddharth Joshi suggests to sign up for the street walks organised by the J&K Tourism in order to know the history by the passionate youngsters. There are totals of 4 walks – Shere-e-khaas walk, Mugal Walk, Lal Chowk Walk and Piligrim’s Walk.
8. Dudhwa | Love Story of Elephants
Dudhwa, is a good four to five hour drive from Lucknow and is close to a small town called Palia which is a few miles away from the forest and the national park. Arvind had a great time meeting deeply in love elephant couple.
9 . Bhoothathankettu | Monster Land
Bhoothathankettu is a place situated approximately 50 KMS from Kochi City. The name Bhoothathankettu can be loosely translated to “Monster Fort”, this place boasts of a natural rocky topography and legend has it that it has been built by Bhoothams (monsters/demons). The place, which has a huge virgin forest, today hosts a dam and an exotic view which comes as a relief from the wearisome sight of the concrete jungle.
10. Yellapur – Magod – Jenukal Gudda – Sirisi | Kingdom of Waterfalls
Yellapur – Magod – Jenukal Gudda – Sirisi , situated in Karnataka are famous for its waterfalls and scenic beauty. It is difficult to visit this place during rains. Being so close to nature, this place is a home for variety of animals and birds like Jackal, Red Bulbul and so on. Read Santhosh‘s exciting journey as you plan yours.

Some amazing places there. The pics add to the temptation factor. Digha is one place I would like to add. It is a beach destination in Bengal but has such a slow rustic life with cycle rickshaw as the only mode of public transport.
