  • Who Purba Ray
    What : Parenting outsourced
Tangy : In India, a woman is more dependent on her house-maid than her husband, if we can say so! This dependency is often not limited to just household chores; but extends to taking care of their children as well. Too much of this, blurs out the parenting part from the mother. How much do you outsource parenting?

  • Who : Ajay & Shreya K
What : The Tale of the Royal Dress
Tangy : The Royal Wedding was much talked about when it took place. Some were in awe of how stunning Kate looked in Sara Burton’s dress, while some were debating on how she underplayed it. Ajay is with the former group and here’s his take on The Royal Dress. 🙂

  • Who : Bragadeesh Prasanna
What : Approach to Education System – Is it ok to be slaved at school?
Tangy : We often see parents who have set a strict timetable for their small kids, leaving less or no time to play. Scoring a good percentage is the only aim they want to concentrate on and rest hobbies & activities are kept aside. In this post, Prasanna discusses over this thinking of parents and how wrong it is for the children.

  • Who : Mahima
What : Ladies Coach in Delhi Metro – Seriously?
Tangy : Boarding a local train anywhere in India is nothing less than preparing yourself for a tough task. Delhi breathed a sigh of relief with the introduction of Delhi Metro. But the ladies yet again have to go through the same task with the inclusion of a ladies coach. Angel describes few hours that she spent in that coach.

  • Who Suranga Date
What : Ukhanas in the time of Will and Kate
Tangy : Ukhanas are rhyming couplets, where the bride pronounces her husband’s name as part of the poetry, and vice versa. Suranga composes some Ukhanas for William and Kate to recite. Have a read. 🙂

  • Who : Netha Hussain
    What : Illness and Cure
Tangy : Miracles do happen is all we can say after reading this post. Where medicine and science fail, that is where you can see God standing. The love and care showered by Netha, eventually helped Diya in recovering from an incurable medical condition. Have you encountered with a similar situation or person?

  • Who : Bhavin Sangoi
What : A secret Letter to party high command
Tangy : I request you to change the Pledge printed in the text books of School curriculum like this “India is my country, all corrupts are my brothers and sisters, corruption is my occupation, Swiss bank is my destination.” A letter from a shamefully corrupt party worker to an equally corrupt political party, probably which you hate. 😉

  1. Blogadda, I thought the wedding was really slick,
    And many thanks for this Tangy Tuesday pick;
Was looking forward to watching the bidaai,
And noticed that nobody was planning to cry,
All the inlaws were looking suitably tough,
Chalo TV band karo, enough is enough…
