Exactly, great point raised. We want to make women’s rights a bastion of a select group of people, without realizing that all women are judged and need feminism equally.

So many different narratives but the unifying theme is the same – No matter how capable a woman is, we want to fit her into the framework of what a woman should be! Each one here is judged for something she doesn’t have (while only society thinks she should) ignoring what each one has achieved! Serena has won international titles and people judge her body. Sania has made India proud and all we are worried about her motherhood status! All this really questions the whole concept of independent women in 21st century. If these achievers are being judged, we can only imagine what the rural and poor women go through!
