Congratulations for successful trip. I just came to know of this blog and journey you both did.
I am an architect based at Baroada, India. We had thought of doing same route about eight years back….could not do it for various reasons. A relative had retained Land Rover for over an year to support our trip.

We (me and artist friend, Mukesh Amin) have recently completed Baroda-Jaipur-Shimll-Pathankot-Jammu-Pahelgam-Srinagar-Drass-Kargil-Leh-Pangong-Leh-Kargil-Sonmarg-Gulmarg-Lakhanpur-Amritsar-Suratgarh-Bikaner-Jodhpur-Ambaji-Baroda…..about 5700 Kms…26 Days.
Now, with fresh experience of road journey and looking at Videos of your trip at Youtube we are again back to our dream of doing Edinburg-Baroda trip.

Request to be our teacher and advice us on all aspects of tour.
