Absolutely. In some levels we do work with TiE and NEN very closely. Most of the mentors that we use and the judges on the shortlist do come from TiE. The student community of NEN has always been a big fan of Proto.in and we do support them in most of the entrepreneurship meets in the colleges where they have presence. What headstart is doing with Startup saturdays is awesome. In all our facebook, orkut and blogs we do keep promoting them

At the end of the day its not about what we do, but if the startup entrepreneurs can benefit and grow that matters.

I think a lot of folks expect, synergies that are almost synonymous to merging into one entity. I dont think thats going to help anyone. While TiE focuses on the larger ecosystem, NEN focuses on Student entrepreneurs and Headstart Focuses on Academia-Industry linkages and innovation, and Proto.in focuses on Early stage startups, we are all pretty much working on niche areas.

Thats the way I see it.

Vijay, what startups did u do in Canada? Apart from proto are you part of any startup in india?

There are lot of forums like Proto {headstart, TiE, Nen} do you see them as competition?Is there any synergy between you guys? Would you be open to work with any of them in the future like a event done by Proto’s and xyz?

Pune’s good not far from bombay so its fine for us to travel… I hope the weather behaves…
