‘Invisible’. This word has a lot of power associated to it. With power comes responsibility. If you were given the power to become invisible, what would you do? Our Indian Bloggers came up with a lot of brilliant stuff, all creative in their own right. The task of judging them was bestowed upon Poonam Sharma, who is the brains behind the blog ‘Visceral Observations‘. Poonam. it is all yours now.
Let us go back to the year 2000 and read some headlines with a twist. ‘Onida launches gaming console with motion sensing abilities’,’Brilliant Tutorials admits to having influence over IIT examiners’.’Osama Bin Laden proposes his love for Mamta Kulkarni through an audio tape released by Al Jazeera’. These would have been some of the headlines which we would have loved to read in that year.
This man needs no introduction as he is the king of Satire humour. He is one of the founders of Bosey.com and started his own blog, Son of Bosey in 2005. Once upon a time, there was a man called H. One day he decided to make a list of things which he wanted to do but was not sure he would be able to do them. He chartered a plane for South Africa, not for the world cup, but to Bloukrans, which is the World’s highest commercial Bungee Jump at a whooping 216 m high. Controlling his nerves and backing himself up, he gets ready to jump. Just before his jump, he calls his son & gives him a list.
As the son starts reading the list. he smiles as the name of the list was ‘Moments of Madness‘. ‘H’ had embarked on a journey to experience his ‘Moments of Madness‘ and his son remembers his few ‘Moments of Madness‘ that he had experienced much early in his life. We are sure you would have had your share of such moments. It is your time now to share the list. π
We are back after a complete shutdown by a phenomenon called ‘Bharat Bandh’. Was the purpose served? The road wore a blank look, buses were pelted stones at, and few public properties damaged. Finally, who had to suffer? The Common Man. As a common man we have to rise against such nonsensical acts. We can do that through various mediums among which blogs is one such medium. It might help a long way in creating awareness. We are seeing amazing blogs being written and wonderful posts being churned week after week.
