Vannakkam (Hello in Tamil). It is a beautiful Saturday here and it was a sunny day yesterday. After all the brouhaha by the BMC over the clashing of high tides and heavy rains which in turn will cause imminent floods, all the warnings and the hype factor caused by media went Kaput :D. Currently, Proto is on at Pune and we wish all the best for startups showcasing there. BTW, we won the Ipod shuffle and the Wi-Fi T-Shirt for the live coverage/tweeting in the previous edition. As always we are back with our Spicy Saturday Picks – the best blogposts from the Indian Blogosphere this week!
Namaskaaramulu (Hello in Telugu). The rains finally hit Mumbai and the city was crippled with less than 200 mm of rain. Where are the crores of rupees spent by the BMC reflected? Taj hotel is abuzz today with activity as Hillary Rodham Clinton has arrived :). We ca guess what tomorrow’s headlines in newspapers would be. 🙂 Or keep watching India TV to know the ‘insightful’ headlines!!
Namaskaroo (Hello in Konkani). The first week of the second half is over and it has started off very well. The guest post by Ashu Mittal was liked by by a lot of Indian and International photographers and she even got a proposal to write a guest post for an international photography community. Do write to us if you would like to be a guest blogger for us. Maintaining the trend, here are the best posts from the Indian Blogosphere from the ‘the big daddy of Indian bloggers’ as Shakthidharan would like to put up as :).
Kasey Aahat? (How are you in Marathi). The month of July has started and we are halfway through 2009. The first half has been great with all your support. We promise to make your second half even better 🙂 . We started the second half with a superb interview of Indyeah and continue with our Spicy Saturday Picks 🙂
Vanakkam (Hello in Tamil). We had some good news as well as bad news this week. Bad news was the death of Michael Jackson, the musical icon who rose over racist society to cement a place in everyone’s heart. Rest in Peace MJ! Now time for the good news. Monsoons have hit Mumbai yesterday and the weather, the nature are at its best 🙂 . Talking about the ‘best’, we have the best blogposts from the Indian Blogosphere here. By the way, BlogAdda is at BlogCamp Pune and do meet us if you are attending the event.
Jwajalapa (Hello in Nepalese). Prayers and Havans are being held all over the western coast of India to please the rain gods. Mother Nature seems to be angry with us for the reasons we all know 🙂 . There is still time to care for the environment. We do not need a day to show our love for the enviroment. Let us do it everyday. We have the best blog posts from the Indian Blogosphere for you to read over the weekend.
