#InstaTales Feature: Summer Siesta

For us perpetually tiredΒ people, sleep is always welcome. But a summer siesta is like the Alphonso of mangoes – found only when the sun is at its hottest, and the sweetest to enjoy. While most of us cannot indulge in siestas because of work commitments, we can at least think about them and get you to do the same. We tried doing it through our #InstaTales prompt – ‘Summer Siesta’.

The merry Instagrammers on our timeline got into the snoozy mood with the prompt, and found their place in the #InstaTales feature below. Don’t miss the captions!Β

@blogadda wanted to hear some stories and see them under the prompt summer siesta. Though I am a little late to see the post, here I am with my #instatales. Summer always brings mixed feelings for me. If I ignore it’s messy, sweety side, I love how summer brightens the life with different shades of color. Summer is the season of wild flowers, wild fruits and I love how nature decorates any place with colours. Assam is more than green in summer. It’s vibrant. So, here is my take of a wild flower, which was grown without any attention from any human but nature created with ample care! Here’s to summer siesta!

I sit here, in the retreat of nature. Golden sea sand sprawled before me, icy blue waves with foamy white toppings lap the shore. Tall, swaying coconut trees, brushed by cool refreshing wind… Perfect setting for a summer siesta. This is bliss @blogadda 🌴🌴🌴🌊🌊🌊🌴🌴🌴🌊🌊🌊🌴🌴🌴🌊🌊 @blogadda #summersiesta #InstaTales #beach #seashore #coconuttree #bliss #instapicoftheday #summer #summerfun #nature #naturelover #instablogger

. Well, since the prompt is Summer Siesta, let me present a very familiar picture from the Streets of Calcutta! ~ I used to see him everyday at Girish Park, chirping around, cracking jokes at his “Colleagues”, in-spite of the killing heat in this part of the country. Yes, he was full of life…full of spirit…brimming with the zest to survive. Yes, he was a one who returned my 100 rupee note that I had mistakenly left behind in his tana rickshaw; he could have easily shrugged his responsibility on a dizzy summer afternoon. Yet, he decided to make it happen. Humans of Calcutta as they say, privileged enough to have met him in person. @blogadda #InstaTales #Blogadda #summer #diaries #Calcutta #ig_calcutta #kolkata #sokolkata #onlyinbengal #_soi #indiapictures
